Interesting Certificates 2024

If you believe that self-respecting IT’s only need certificates in the field of IT, you are wrong. For example, as a pleasant bonus to your resume, it’s also good to get a language certificate confirming that you are at a decent level in any foreign language.

If we talk about English, then for this purpose, for example, IELTS: International English Language Testing System, or the popular TOEFL: Test of English as a Foreign Language in Russia, are suitable.

If opportunities allow, some unusual but respected certificate on the market can serve as a bright touch to the resume. As an example, the certificate of the Mensa society, the largest and oldest organization on our planet for people with a high coefficient of intelligence, is well suited. Mensa is a non-profit and open society, but membership in it makes it possible to feel like a real elite – in order to get there, you need to carefully monitor the commission and pass the IQ test better than 98% of the world’s population. The task, of course, is not the easiest, but more than 100 thousand people somehow coped with it :).

Another funny and not quite ordinary at first glance paper – a certificate of ethical hacker (Certified Ethical Hacker), invented by the International Council of E-Commerce Consultants (EC-Council). Ethical hackers guys, in essence, are kind – at the request of companies they test products for vulnerabilities, trying to crack them and, thus, find holes and bugs.
